WHO WE ARE
The Northern Nevada Pastors Fellowship exists as a fellowship of like-minded pastors who meet:
To pray for one another
To pray for revival in our churches, our community, and our nation.
To support and encourage one another in ministry
To encourage our churches to unitedly be a force for God’s kingdom in our community
What we have in common is:
a heart for our community
a heart for other pastors
a desire for kingdom righteousness to prevail in our community
a Bible-centered historical Christian faith as shown in the doctrinal statement below
an openness to prayer and the gifts of the Spirit in the Pentecostal/Charismatic tradition
Doctrinal StatementWe believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
